Time to help a man who has contributed a great deal to New Zealand and Australia.

John Woodley has has given much to the world of Motorcycling and Forestry in Australia and is now in need of your support. In the 1970's, 1980's, and in a comeback as recently as 2010 and 2016, John has achieved a great deal in motorcycle racing - putting both NZ and Australia on a world stage. Some of his achievements have included numerous NZ Grand prix wins - 2 times Australia GP winner - winner of Selangor and Penang GP to name but a few. Good luck, John...you deserve some. I met you through motorcycles, of course, and the rare all-too-brief chats have always been delightful. Our most recent was at the Goodwood Revival in 2014 (it seems like yesterday!) and I have a lovely shot of you and Bob Rosenthal from that day. Shoot me a message if you'd like it. All the best.

First time I saw you race was the Gracefield round of the Marlboro Series about 1975 on your RG500. Thrilled the hell out of me! Followed your racing career over the years and you really did NZ proud. My cousin had MND a number of years ago, so good luck with your battle. Thankyou Gentleman John for all the enjoyment you gave us through the years.

John so sorry to hear of your illnes. I remember well the rides and times we had at Woodbourne the scars remind me of your H2 750 I couldn’t handle. I wish you well my friend
