Time Together Means Everything - For Tamzyn and her Family 💛

Hi Everyone

I’m reaching out on behalf of my friend Karen, who is going through something no parent should ever have to face.

Her 10-year-old daughter, Tamzyn, is currently in Starship Hospital with terminal brain cancer, diagnosed as DMG (Diffuse Midline Glioma).

Being there with her means everything, but Karen lives around 2.5 hours away, so every visit involves travel costs, accommodation, and time away — which is becoming incredibly difficult to manage. Karen is a full-time nursing student and is doing everything she can to hold things together, but she isn’t eligible for financial support.

She also has her son with her, who is extremely close to Tamzyn and needs to be there with his sister.

Right now, making memories together as a family means everything.

Karen is also trying to bring Tamzyn’s sister over from Australia so she can spend precious time with her too.

Every visit, every hug, every moment together matters more than words can explain. If you’re able to help in any way — no matter how small — it would make a huge difference.
