Support Tim as he continues his journey to overcome cancer.
Wellington
Numerous people have reached out asking how they can support Tim as he continues his journey to overcome cancer found in his bowel 3 months ago. We are setting this page up for anyone wanting to donate towards Tim and his support network in making this journey as comfortable as possible.
After persevering with Crohn's disease for over 20 years, cancerous tumours were found in late February. Having recently recovered from significant surgery to remove the large intestine with the tumours and the associated lymph nodes, he is now entering the next stage of treatment. Under the doctor’s recommendation, 6 months of chemotherapy has commenced, with the intention to hit it hard and fast. Some significant side effects are immunosuppression and fatigue.
The funds raised will go towards a comfortable chair for Tim as he recuperates between chemo cycles. Any additional funds will go to help Tim and his family with day-to-day expenses and living costs.
With the ongoing support and love of his friends and family, coupled with his unwavering faith in God, Tim remains resilient through this challenging time.
Your kindness and generosity is received with gratitude and appreciation. God bless.
As his younger brother, I am looking to gather resources to help support Tim in this challenging time for him.

It is finished! 6 November 2021
Hi there,
What a journey! I can not believe it is November already, feels like only yesterday I was diagnosed with cancer. I have completed all my chemo treatments and no further treatments are required. I had an amazing time away getting some rest and relaxation this week. A time to reflect and refocus on moving forward.
I want to say a massive thank you to all that supported me; whether in prayers and support, finanically or just being there when i needed. You have all made this journey that little bit easier. I have enjoyed being able to rest and enjoy the view in the lazyboy chair that I was able to purchase with your generosity.
I also want to say as a Christian, we are not immune to hardships, but going through them is that bit easier knowing God is ever present. It is in His strength that I was able to get through this year. It is in the new life He has given me that gives hope that whatever happens I am secure in His hands.
This page will close in about 10 days. Thanks again for all the support and generosity.
Thanks
Tim Dann
