Fundraising for the the 2026 Titahi Bay School Triathlon - held on Saturday 28 March

We have had hugely successful Triathlons in the past and we are so excited that our Triathlon is back! This event is not only part of our Physical Education and Health Programme but it is a great way of bringing us all together, it is fun and also our major fundraiser for the year. The funds raised this year will be going towards upgrades to the mid court and the senior seating area.

Our Triathlon is being held on Saturday 28 March 2026 in front of the Titahi Bay Surf Club. Our tamariki build up their fitness, practice riding their bikes and for some learn to ride their bikes in time for the event. Our juniors are able to use their scooters for the wheels section of the race. The swim component of the Tri is a short run through the water to the finish line.

About us

Titahi Bay School is located in the picturesque seaside suburb of Titahi Bay with expansive school grounds, giving children lots of opportunity to spread out and run. We are situated within easy walking distance of the beach and 2 sets of sports fields.

Use of funds

Upgrades to the middle court & senior seating area

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
