Girls Rock Aotearoa presents To The Front Te Papaioea 2022

$155 donated
Given by 3 generous donors in 11 weeks

The kaupapa of Girls Rock and To the Front is to empower youth by giving them practical skills and role models in a safe, supportive space.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Girls Rock Aotearoa has been helping young women, transgender, intersex, takatāpui, and gender diverse youth form bands, build instrument skills, and write original songs since 2018. We are proud to announce for the first time in Palmerston North, To The Front Te Papaioea programme!

These three-day weekend programmes take everything that’s made our week-long programmes so successful and give us the opportunity to offer it in new locations across Aotearoa, at new times of the year, and for participants who might not be able to commit to a full week To The Front experience.

WHAT UNDERPINS OUR WORK?

The kaupapa of Girls Rock! is to empower youth by giving them practical skills and role models in a safe, supportive space. We are a non-profit organisation made up of musicians and music lovers with years of music industry experience. We are committed to guiding the advancement and empowerment of young women and gender diverse youth - but we can’t do it alone.

WHERE DO YOU COME IN?

We need your help to deliver our new programme format across the lower North Island! Your generosity will help provide our youth the chance to create, to learn and grow, and to let their voices be heard!

Girls Rock! Camp Aotearoa is registered with the New Zealand Companies Office as an Incorporated Society.
