Toastmasters - World Championship of Public Speaking

Hi

I'm fortunate to be representing District 72 (New Zealand) in the World Championship of Public Speaking in Chicago on August 23rd at the 2018 Toastmasters Convention.

I'll be in one of ten semi-finals, competing with top speakers from India, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia. The winner of each semi-final will go through to the Grand Final two days later, where they will have to give a completely different speech. The winner of the Final will be the World Champion of Public Speaking!

I understand the audience could be about 2,500 people.

I'm looking forward to the challenge. This page is to raise funds to contribute to any unmet costs of my trip and all associated costs (eg accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, etc).
