Auckland
I'm from Colombia and I have been here in New Zealand studying for more than one year. Last 1st of April in Colombia my homecountry, in the city of Mocoa-Putumayo heavy rains caused the overflow of three rivers, and a dramatic mudslides occurred killing more than 200 people. I created this space to ask for your help because one of my cousins (15 years old) lost her live and other relatives lost their home and absolutely all their belongings. I thank those of good heart who wish to collaborate with this cause, helping my family and many others who are suffering without electricity, food and water.
Mocoa tragedy touched me and I it hurts me a lot because some of my relatives lost their homes in special my auntie and her husband, they are old and they lost everything and I want to do something to help them as they are the most generous and humble person I've ever met. I just wonder all time why bad things happen to such good people. Thank you with all my heart for your help New Zealand
Funds will be passed to my sister Lina Vanessa Guerra Murillo in Cali Colombia. She will then give it to my family in Mocoa Putumayo because they still without electricity and is not possible to send the money directly to them.
The funds will be used to buy nonperishable food, medicines, clothes, cleaning items, blankets, mattress and other elements that the people affected may need.
