Together for Arlo: Help to cover family needs

    Oh my gosh, I woke up to the BEST knock on the door in the world. Arlo was able to come home for Christmas 🥹 Chris and Leanne are home with their baby boy for the first time since his birth and are incredibly grateful and relaxed to be in their safe space. Arlo will be back to starship in January to start the process for dialysis and a kidney transplant but for the time being, we will all enjoy him being home for a few weeks. Thank you all for your continued love and support. Merry Christmas x

  • Our rocketman

    Our beautiful wee Arlo was supposed to come home on Monday for a few weeks before returning to starship in January however due to test results coming back showing sepsis, Arlo had undergone another surgery and will be in starship for a minimum of 14 more days. We are still holding onto hope that he may get to come home for a few days around Christmas but time will tell. I got to go and hold my little miracle nephew for the first time in the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful to finally hold him! The nurses, doctors and Ronald Mc Donald are absolutely incredible and it was such an eye opener of a trip. Leanne and Chris are doing an amazing job at looking after their boy and appreciate everyone's ongoing love and support xo - Hope

  • Our brave Arlo is all settled in

    Hi friends and family, Firstly thank you so so so much for all of your support and generosity. Chris and Leanne are overwhelmed with the love and support they are receiving ❤️

    A wee update, Arlo is all settled into his new big boy bed in starship hospital and did incredibly well on his flight to Auckland. Chris and Leanne are also all settled in and are learning all the ropes of how starship works.

    We will provide a further update in a few days time, but in the mean time... thank you again 💓
