Together for Arlo: Help to cover family needs

Arlo is an incredible little fighter, a miracle, fighting against all odds who was born with a incredibly rare condition called Prune Belly Syndrome (also known as Eagle-Barrett syndrome) which affects roughly 1 in 40,000 babies.

After spending a month in the Wellington NICU, he is now being transferred to Starship Hospital for urgent treatment. Arlo’s journey is far from over, and he faces the possibility of needing daily dialysis (along with many other procedures) until he reaches a safe weight, at which point he will require a double kidney transplant. This may be one of many in his lifetime.

For Arlos beautiful parents - Chris and Leanne, this is an incredibly stressful and emotional time. Along with the immense worry about Arlo’s health, they are facing financial challenges with travel costs and the pressure of maintaining their mortgage while they are unable to work.

The funds we raise through this page will go directly to Chris and Leanne to help cover travel costs and living expenses during this difficult time. Your generosity will allow my brother and sister to focus on what truly matters – being by their baby Arlo’s side and ensuring he gets the best care possible.
