Together for Lu: Fund the Fight, Fuel the Hope

Our incredible friend Lu is just 40 years old — a loving wife, a devoted mother to two beautiful girls, and a woman full of energy, heart, and unwavering determination.

Lu is the kind of person who gives without hesitation. She’s generous with her time, her warmth, and her spirit — always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word. Actively involved in her community, Lu thrives on connection and is deeply committed to those around her. She makes space for everyone — and now, we want to make space for her to heal.

Two years ago, Lu was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that is notoriously difficult to treat. After a challenging year of treatment, we held hope for recovery. Tragically, the cancer has returned — more complex and more urgent than ever.

But Lu is a fighter. She faces every challenge with fierce determination and unshakable hope. She is committed to being here for her girls, her husband, and the life she loves so deeply. Her courage continues to inspire all of us.

We’re now raising funds to get Lu to the Sanoviv Medical Institute in Mexico, where she has the chance to receive world-class, integrative cancer treatment that’s not available here in New Zealand. This care offers new hope — but it comes at a cost.
