Together for Tukaha 🩵

Our strong, brave boy Tukaha-Whakaangi is currently in hospital after doctors discovered a tumour on his spine. This has been a huge shock for our whānau, and right now, the most important thing is that Mum and Dad can be by his side every step of the way as he goes through treatment and recovery.

What started off as a simple doctors appointment for a check up on his foot turned into an unexpected trip to starship hospital where he is now awaiting surgery. Both parents have had to take time off work so they can stay with him, which means the family has lost their usual income. All donations received will go towards covering household bills, food and daily essentials in order to help keep mum and dad with their boy.

I’ve created this page to awhi (support) Tukaha and his whānau during this difficult time. Every koha, big or small, will help ease the financial pressure so Mum and Dad can focus on what matters most – being there for their boy.
