Together, Let’s Support Sylvia Trotter in her Europe Debut & Winter Olympics 2026 ❄️🇳🇿

We are reaching out on behalf of an extraordinary 18yr old Sylvia Trotter from NZ a ski athlete & Wānaka local who has just achieved a dream few ever reach.

She’s proving she belongs among the best & has officially earned her place at the 26 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy next month. An achievement so rare, so deserved, & a moment of immense pride for both her & Aotearoa.

Sylvia received a late call in November for her Slopestyle World Cup in Stubai, Austria, placing 10th in her debut Olympic qualifier. She then headed to Secret Garden, China, making the Big Air finals with a dub-10 & score of 83.5, placing 7th in her second Olympic qualifier. Sylvia’s continued on to Beijing, Colorado, Aspen, & Laax.

While her talent is world-class, the funding sadly isn’t. So we need your help🙏

This season, we are grateful to the Wānaka Ski Club and a private sponsor. Her parents work multiple jobs, seven days a week, Sylvia herself has been a consistent face at Black Peak Gelato since she was 13 to contribute to her dream.

Travelling these countries to compete has stretched the family’s resources to the limit.

We are asking our community, near & far, to help support her as she navigates Europe to compete in the Olympics & the final leg of the World Cup. Every contribution goes directly toward these costs that allow her to proudly represent NZ on the world stage.
