Tom, the street cat with incredible odds

Tom was a wild / street cat for 10+ years untill a year ago he decided he wanted to retire and he choose my mums house to do it .

She's spent all this time socializing him and catching him to be neutered , flea and wormed .he's now the sweetest man estimated to be roughly 16 years old who enjoys a good ear rubs and snuggle whilst lying in the sun being a happy full time indoor cat .

Looking at the picture of him , you would immediately think the worst (like everyone else including myself orginally ) , but I promice you his blood work from last year and again yesterday was as the vet said "remarkable for a cat of his age and condition " he's just a happy old man

Tom has seen some things in his life time and he has a few battle scars to show like one eye , a cauliflower ear and he is unfortunaly fiv+ . He's currently needing emergency dental surgery to remove one dead tooth and another that is very infected impacting him being able to eat .

After exploring all the possible options i find myself here trying to help raise funds for his teeth removal to help this old man be pain free from these horrific teeth that are now impacting his day to day life as my mum doesn't have $1500 at her disposal to fund this much needed surgery. The estimate is more likely at the $1600 end due to him being fiv+ he needs extra care and attention both during and after the surgury
