  • Cowboy is in Milan!

    Mālō e lelei everyone, thanks to you, Cowboy has made it to Milan! Today Team Tonga checked in to the athletes' accommodation in Busto Arsizio - the same area the Olympic Qualifiers will be held in in just a few days. He has been training a couple of times a day and adjusting well to the 12 hour time difference. We will give you all an update again once the draw is out in a couple of days and we know when Taufa's first fight is. Thank you again for making this possible. Just today we were talking on FaceTime about how grateful we are for all your support and how humbling it is that he's only there because of all your generous donations. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Mālō e lelei, friends and family! Not long now until Cowboy is off to Milan for the Olympic Qualifiers. He has been training hard, working with both his coaches to ensure that he has his strength and conditioning, boxing drills, and sparring are covered.

    We've hit our fundraising goal for this leg of Cowboy's Olympic journey - and we could not have done it without you all and your kindness and generosity. We are still overwhelmed by the village that is surrounding Cowboy, believing in him and cheering him on.

    We will be leaving this page open until the end of his Milan trip. All funds raised above the initial goal have been and will be put aside for Paris or, if needed, Thailand for the next Olympic Qualifiers.

    Mālō e lelei, family and friends! We are so overwhelmed by your generosity, kindness and support for Taufa's journey and dream. We are almost at our fundraising goal and we can't believe it! Any funds raised above the goal will be set aside for Paris or, if needed, the next World Qualifying Tournament in Thailand in May. Thank you again! 'Ofa atu.
