This is Precious, affectionately known as Baby—our charismatic, protective, and loving 10-year-old Maltese who came into our lives after her first mum sadly passed away, She means the world to us.

A few months ago, Baby fell seriously ill. After rushing her to the vet, we discovered she had multiple health issues, including diabetes, list is long. That visit left us with a bill of nearly $3k Not long after, she started struggling with her teeth—discovered she needed extractions and was blind in one eye, costing over $2k. Just when we thought she was in the clear, we discovered a large lump growing on her side. The vet has told us she now needs surgery, but the costs are beyond what we can afford. We’ve tried everything—tapped out savings, loans and we’re now completely out of options.
