Toroa Village, Solomon Islands, is without power to run their Community Centre training programs. A new 3.0 kW inverter is needed urgently.

A new 3.0 kW inverter will allow trainees at the Community Centre to use power tools such as skill saws and drills. It will also power a small freezer to allow storage of food.
The Community Learning Centre in Toroa village has operated for 6 years. I helped install a 3.0 kW solar power unit on the Community Centre building in 2014. A 3.0kW inverter will provide sufficient power to run small tools and a freezer.
We work with Toroa Village, Solomon Islands, to support their Community Learning Centre. In January 2015 we sent a team of 4 people from NZ to work alongside the village people. We need to send another work team to replace the first floor and carry out other urgent maintenance.
