Tough Mudder Challenge for Doug

Hey loved ones and friends of Dad/Doug!

As you're aware Dad has been going through what we're hoping to be a successful fight against cancer.

Times haven't been easy for us out here in the red centre, nor cheap. Dad flies to Alice Springs each week to have treatment, and lives in a hotel for the week. He is in a really good routine and the chemo nurses are lovely. Whilst the patient travel assistance covers some of the flights and accommodation, it never covers all of the cost. Flights between Yulara and Alice Springs are quite pricey and he covers his own meals there as well. This puts a strain on Dad which we know wouldn't be very nice when you are going through a tough time. He is keeping his spirits up, and still working when he's back in Yulara.

This weekend Eddie and I are entering in the Melbourne Tough Mudder Challenge. My aim is to raise money to assist Dad in his ongoing treatment. I've been training really hard the last six months and Dad has been my motivation throughout it.

We would appreciate any donation however small or large and in return we will smash 9km and 9 obstacles through the mud this Saturday!

We are hoping for some good news next month when we travel back to Adelaide.
