TPLO - CRUCIATE SURGERY FOR LUNA (BOXER CROSS)

    Hi Friends,

    Luna is home after having her surgery on Wednesday, she is weight bearing on the leg and using it tentatively. A big thank you to the team at Western Veterinary in Avondale for the fabulous care they gave to Luna, osteoarthritis had formed in the joint so they had to remove it during the surgery so her rehab is going to even more important, take it slow is the key.

    Like all two year old's she is keen to get back in to the action, she has a cone which she hates and 5 minutes of lead walking for a toilet break and then back to the crate for rest and recovery. Poor girl just wants out to be with her friends.

    Thank you for your generosity, love and support through this tough time, we will keep you posted on how she is getting on over the next month of quiet recovery time and hope to see you all at the park or beach in the coming months.

  • Luna has had her second birthday today!

    Luna has turned 2 year old today, she spent the day with her friend relaxing in the sun and tonight she had birthday treats, lots of treats and then a slow walk in the park with her friends.

    Thank you so much for your generous donations towards Luna's surgery, we still have some money to raise but we are getting closer to the goal.

    Luna has been gaining more mobility in her damaged leg and is managing to use it more, we have had a few set backs with her over doing it but she has come right with a few weeks of rest.

    Thanks again for all your support of Luna, her family and us.
