Unique duo, TR20 team up with Gabro Racing to take on Italy for a consecutive year.

This unique Kiwi duo are at it again!

Doing things not many have done before..

In May 2018 to August 2018 sees the team return to Italy to continue their success & knowledge in Europe.

The up and coming international Aprilia star, Dillon Telford (Aprilia Mechanic/Superbike Pilot/Tutor) and Jo Taylor (Dillon's Superbike Mechanic/ Girlfriend/Marketing/Media/Admin) have joined forces with the Italian and world famous Gabro Racing Team to contest some of the best Italian pilots for a second consecutive year.

This time, not on the TR20 Aprilia RSV4 RFW,

but on the Gabro Racing Aprilia V4 Tuono 1100 special,

TR20 Team worked well with Gabro last year, together they won the Italia Trofeo Naked Championship 1000cc Race at Mugello in August 2017, on the Gabro V4 Tuono 1000cc.

This year we sought a tougher championship... so we will contend the Italia CIV Pirelli Cup & a Wild Card round in the Italia CIV National Trophy.

Both classes are on the Gabro Racing Team Naked Aprilia Tuono 1100cc, (naked= no aero dynamic fairings) against a field of top 1000cc Superbikes (bikes with fairing).

Having a disadvantage of no fairing we are allowed to run an extra 100cc.

This is a heavily discounted ride, but not a free one..

TR20 are working hard to financially fund this fantastic opportunity, after last years successful season, they have nothing more to sell... but with your financial assistance, they can focus some of their hard earned money towards the rebuild of the their much loved TR20 Aprilia RSV4 RFW that unfortunately had a severely large crash in December in NZ, Due to this we sadly have no bike to practice on, until we get parts over from Italy.

But thankfully Dillon chooses to wear only the best safety gear, this showed in the fact he was able to walk away unhurt after tumbling for 147metres, the bike on the other hand did not,

But he can continue to do what he does & loves, to race Aprilia motorcycles and due opening our own servicing workshop we can now service them and share some of our vast knowledge with our clients.

One other of Dillon's passions is rider training, he loves to share his knowledge of information to willing and passionate people, this knowledge we gain from our international racing, via people we meet, the Aprilia Factory team, Gabro Racing team & more..

What the team learnt in 6 months in Italy last year racing successfully, would have taken 5-6 years to learn in NZ, the more we can learn, the more we can give back to the NZ motorcycle community and hopefully in turn the more we can have top Kiwi international racers, taking on the european scene, unfortunately all this requires financial support.
