Tragic Loss of Beloved Horse

After a day out at the local pony club sports day, 17 year old Mealie Paull and Dad David were heading home with Mealie’s horse Fog in their family horse truck. Little did they know that along the journey Fog had put his foot through the floor of the truck. David stopped as soon as he felt something was wrong but sadly it was too late. There was no sign of rot in the flooring. David is pedantic about testing floors.

Mealie, David and mum Jacquie are all absolutely devastated at losing Fog.

Mealie had worked and saved hard to buy Fog herself and had only just finished paying for him. Now along with losing her precious horse the family have a horrendous vet bill to pay.

Mealie is an amazing young lady. Last year when my daughter was undergoing cancer treatment Mealie took her riding for a day when she was able and gave her a much moral support throughout the duration of her treatment. For a girl her age she shows such empathy, kindness and resilience. Please help Mealie and her family with any amount you can to help pay the vet and maybe contribute to a new horse. Mealie really does deserve this. Thank you
