To train a girl in Papua New Guinea to be a nurse / midwife who can then work in her local community.
Auckland
Clinthia K was sponsored through secondary school and has done well. She is qualified to attend the Kudjin Nazarene College of Nursing in 2023 but her family does not have the means to pay board and tuition for her to train. She is the oldest child in a large family plus they have adopted two children from deceased relatives.
We envisage Clinthia serving her people as a nurse and helping to educate her siblings.
My sister, Sister Elizabeth Snedden, met Clinthia's father Juvali K five years ago and has kept in touch. Baradene College [the Students' Fundraising] sponsored the education of his children and Clinthia has completed year 12.
This will pay for Clynthia's nursing training and money raised will be sent straight to the college.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to this. Unfortunately we didn't raise enough to cover all her costs for this year, so her father has had to borrow from an uncle and delay paying school fees for the other children. Thank you, at least she can start her training and I might ask for more help for them next year. Life is a financial struggle for them.
