Help stop female cats being rapped, Male cats fighting, and the over population of feral cats. Trap - Neuter - Re-home/Return.
Waikato
I have identified an area in rural Cambridge where feral cats are breeding at a rapid pace and fighting for food and space.
Last year I was able to trap a number of them, Neuter them and return them to where they were caught, and continue to provide food for them weekly. 5 kittens were caught and re-homed to loving homes. However the older cats are too feral to tame.
This year the population has grown in size and continues to grow with more and more kittens.
Young cats are continuously being rapped and attacked. Males are continuously fighting for food, space and females.
By trapping, neutering and then releasing these feral cats, we can control the feral cat population, ensure that no more cats are rapped, and malnourished due to breeding, and help stop fighting and the spreading of diseases.
I already own a humane cat trap and I am asking for donations to help with the costs of spaying/neutering these cats.
I have enquired for the cheapest and most convenient prices and will be using;
Vet Ora
Hamilton.
Male Neuter: $99
Female Spay: $140.
Any help with donations or any size would be more than appreciated by both me and the cats :)
Donation goal is $1400 which is priced to pay for 8 Females. - This is an estimate as I am not sure how many cats there are nor if they are male or female, but I estimate about 10 cats.
