Can you help with costs for our Trigeminal Neuralgia support group to meet with a world renowned neurological surgeon in Auckland?

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is a chronic pain condition that affects the trigeminal nerve which carries sensation from your face to your brain. There is no cure except for surgery and medications which carry debilitating side effects.

Dr. Ken Casey is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and was trained as a neurosurgical generalist at the University of Pittsburgh. An opportunity has arisen for our TN support group to meet with him in Auckland, Christchurch and Te Anau whilst on a whirlwind business trip. This is such a fabulous opportunity for all of our members throughout NZ.

As Auckland is the most attended venue it has become very difficult to find a quiet space especially when discussing personal details. This has led to the decision to hire a conference room plus associated expenses such as tea, coffee, IT costs etc. As Dr Casey is so generous with his time at nil cost, we'd also like to gift him with a small token of our appreciation.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to pay for a conference room and associated costs. Regarding any surplus dollars, we'd also like to pay for some refreshments for the Christchurch and Te Anau meetings and a small gift for Dr Casey who is not charging us for his time.
