The Westlake Girls High School Sailing Team has claimed three consecutive national titles and now has the incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand at the Interdominion Team Sailing Championship in Goolwa, South Australia from 29th September to 2nd October 2025.
Help these talented young athletes get to the starting line—every dollar brings them closer to defending their crown!
The Westlake Girls High School Sailing Team—Jess Handley, Gretel Satterthwaite, Danielle Robertson, Bella Jenkins, Emily Turner, Charlotte Handley, Julia Nguyen, and Kiera Dimock—has once again earned the honour of representing New Zealand at the prestigious Interdominion Team Sailing Championship, hosted by the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club at the mouth of South Australia's Murray River.
To take on Australia’s best on their home waters—and defend the Interdominion title they’ve held for the past two years—the girls face an intense winter of both training and fundraising. With the full support of their dedicated parents, they’ve already kicked off efforts with two successful sausage sizzles, and planning is underway for a Beats by Bingo Night and Silent Auction.

We just wanted to send a massive THANK YOU again to guests who attended our Beats by Bingo fundraising event held at the Milford Cruising Club on Saturday night!

Whether their item landed in our silent auction, raffles, or as one of our epic spot prizes, it helped bring the energy, excitement, and generosity that made the night such a hit. Our guests had an absolute blast raising essential funds while bringing the community together for a night of music, laughter, and a bit of healthy bingo competition.
