BHCT has been having a busy year with some terrific things happening with new technology in predator control called "SMART" traps, newly approved super effective toxins and automated lure dispensers helping us continue to push for full ecological restoration of this taonga.

About us
Bream Head is significant for its ecology, culture and history. The Bream Head (Te Whara) Conservation Trust is dedicated to the ecological restoration of the reserve to the way it was before pests and predators when all species were able to flourish.
Use of funds
Funds will be used to further our goal of full ecological restoration of Bream Head through increased monitoring, trapping, new technology, pest plant control, planting, translocations and species protection.

Our Triple your donation raised $15826! 12 August 2021
We are so grateful for the tremendous community support shown for our recent Give a Little `Triple your Donation` fundraising campaign.
The past year has been tough for everyone - including nature - where lockdowns and restrictions took a toll on our resources. Thanks to you, projects - like `Load the Road`` and our Grey faced petrel nest monitoring continue to move forward.
