Devastating news. Mother arrived SA and was refused treatment.

Hi everyone. Meet my amazing mother Lynett, she came to NZ on a parent grandparent visa to help me look after my first child. Mom was a very energetic person who loved visiting the beaches. She loved spending time with her only grandchild.

Then mom got I'll. She got diagnosed with Lung cancer. NZ will not treat her as she is not a resident. We had mom booked on a flight 2 weeks ago. She got taken off the plane for medical reasons. Not having the necessary medical clearance documentation. The airline are now requesting mom to go through a list of tests. Not being eligible these tests are going to cost a lot of money. Without going for these tests mom can't go back and start treatment. We cant afford these tests and the medication needed. Mom has been hospitalized a couple of times we just received a bill for 29k. I'm currently trying to look after my mom and little boy. And on top of that trying to work from home which is very stressful. We desperately need help. The more time goes by less chanse mom has to beat this thing.

Update: My mother arrived in South Africa last week after all the tests she needed to go through and needing oxygen on the plane.

She saw the Dr yesterday without me being there. The Dr told my mother that she was dying and that they will not be able to do any treatment as it would just make her sicker. This is devastating news after all my mom went through to get treatment. Feeling heartbroken.
