Please help us get the headstone that oyr precious little boy deserves 🖤
Bay of Plenty
On July 3rd 2018 our baby boy Tufuga-Ariki was born prematurely at only 33weeks old. During my pregnancy scans showed our son was very tiny and showed a very slow growth pace. When our son was born we knew to expect a small baby but after a awfully stressful pregnancy and labor our little boy was born weighing only 1550gms.
Our son, My partner and I stayed in Rotorua hospital from the day he was born until he was 88 days old.Since the day he was born he had many tests, scans and medical checks. We had been awaiting availability at the Auckland Starships hospital for our son to be transfered there since he was born.
After 88 days we finally got there. Our son was going to starship to finally get these big tests done and we could finally take our baby boy home once he was finishef. We were so excited. Before we knew it he was on the plane as we sent him off and off we drove to meet him there.
Unfortunately after only 3 days at starship our son Tufuga-Ariki passed away during a medical procedure. We were in such heartache and so were his loved ones, We were so dissapointed, he was supposed to be in the safest place. There was no explanation good enough. There was nothing that could had been worse, everyone was just broken. We never got to take our precious little boy home properly.
The first few weeks were the hardest. Not a good explanation, no closure we waited months for a death certificate that only came back as "unacertained ". We and our families just couldnt understand what went on for this to happen. We didnt deserve this and no one ever would.
We are hoping to raise funds to get Tufuga the headstone and unveiling that he deserves.
We are Tuarikis Parents. We would like to raise funds for our baby boys unveiling 💛
All funds raised will go towards Tufuga-Arikis Headstone and Unveiling costs. Any donations are truthfully appreciated.
