Please help Tuhaia get to Japan for his history trip in July 2018. A life changing experience for him.
Northland
Tuhaia is currently a year 12 student at Whangarei Boy's High School and has been given the opportunity to participate in a tour of Japan in July 2018. They will visit Tokyo, Sendai, Hiroshima and Kyoto. During their stay, they will get the opportunity to participate in many experiences. Sights, moments in history, culture and food. They have a night with a host family, getting to experience first hand the way of life in this country. An amazing experience for him.
Tuhaia is currently doing Level 3 Cooking at Northtec trades academy along with Senior Maori, Senior Maori Performing Art's, Art Painting, English and Maths. He is also a year 12 future leader and part of the school Kapa Haka group.
For those of you that know Tuhaia, you will know that he is growing into a fine young man. He's humble, kind and generally, keeps his head down and gets on with things. I'm extremely proud of the young man he has become and would love to give him this opportunity to broaden his horizons. Any help towards this would be appreciated greatly.
Just an update on Tuhaia's progress at school this year. He has made school prefect and whanau captain for 2018. He has passed Level 2 and has 59 level 3 credits to start with for 2018. He's worked extremely hard to achieve this and I am so proud!
I'm Tuhaia's mother and this is a dream that I want to turn into a reality for my son. He's worked really hard through school and it would be an amazing experience for him to be part of. I'm currently a student myself and funds are limited so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
The funds will be used to help pay for his tour and the extra meals and activities that are not included in the package.
Thank you so much for your donation! =)
