6 year old Tui the dog has an angry cancer and needs some chemo to get her back to the happy puppy-girl that we know and love.

On 22 August we said goodbye to our little Tui girl. She put up a brave fight but it wasn't to be. Thank you so much to everyone for your support and love. There's still a long way to go for us to fill the massive gap she left but with your help we will get through.

Within a few short weeks, Tui started slowing down when eating which is a BIG thing for her. After a vet checkup she was still a bit off, so the following week we had blood and urine tests done, and then an x-ray. The following week we were at the Massey vets being told she has Lymphoma - stage 5b.
After lots of tears and questions and hard decisions about her quality of life, we knew we had to give her the chance to fight because if she can get through the icky chemo then she could have a great few years left making our lives wonderful, like she always has.
We've been quoted by the vets a minimum of $4,000 for 19 weeks of chemotherapy and we're going to try our best to come up with the funds to give her the best chance possible.
Tui is primarily my partners dog, and I'm her mum. We can't have people children so we have fur babies.
We lost the fight 23 August 2016
Sadly, last night we had to say goodbye to our little Tui. She didn't respond as expected to the first round of chemo and she went downhill very quickly in the last 24 hours.
She was surrounded by the people who love her and took her last breath in her Dad's lap.
She fought hard but her little body couldn't take anymore.
We are going to have her cremated and she will always be with her Dad in the truck.
If it's ok with everyone, we would like to use the funds raised here to give her a beautiful resting place that we will mount in the truck, and will have her microchip made into something that Matt can wear.
If you would prefer a refund we are more than happy to do so.
Thank you so much for your ongoing love and support, it has meant the world to Matt and I.
