Kia ora. Our date for going unconditional has passed and we were not able to meet the requirements. We are now looking at alternative sites, but have been able to confirm our strong relationship with the Ministry of Education and NZCPT, as well as the wonderful Christian community in Wellington. We hope to bring you further news very soon!
We have arranged a slight extension until we go unconditional, this gives us until the start of August. We need to have sufficient funding for the required deposit by August, but we also need to ensure that when we come to settlement date we can meet our financial obligations.
A few people have asked about pledging or conditional donations. If you are considering either of these, please contact us directly at wcetnz@gmail.com, or ask one of the trustees about arranging this.
One question that has been asked is what happens to the money if we don't get enough to secure the land at all. In this case, the vision for the school is still the same, if we simply don't come close to the target, we will have to look at other options.
