Lexi and Mila were born prematurely in April 2017. Since their birth they have suffered immensely from reflux. After several Doctors visits, medications and changes, it has never subsided. On October 20th Lexi choked on her reflux which caused her to stop breathing. Paramedics were called, and we are very blessed she is still here with us today. Since that incident, both Lexi and Mila have been having daily reoccurring episodes were their breathing is jeopardised. It’s a very stressful and anxious time for everyone. Both Lexi and Mila are under a Specialist and are undergoing surgery on the 20th December to insure this never happens again. They both will have a 3 hour surgery each, and willl most likely still be in hospital over the Christmas period. We are wanting to raise money for a family trip away for Megan, Blair, Big sister Mya, Lexi and Mila (after the twins are recovered). To enjoy being a family without the stress and anxiety of something happening to the twins.

Hi Megan I read your messages on fb & my heart goes out to you the juggling act of two babies is one thing but to be dealing with this very scary unpredictable illness that your darling girls are going through I don’t know how you do it. You are so strong & they know that I’m sure. Hope you get to have a fabulous holiday somewhere soon with out any more scary moments xxx

I’ve spent many many years with my children in and out of hospitals and it’s often the kindness of strangers that get us through and give us the strength we need. So bless you all.
