A LITTLE BIT OF KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY❤️
Napier, Hawke's Bay
This is for Jayden, Amy and their 4 little kids along with Danny Marieke and their 3 children who both lost their homes in cyclone Gabrielle. They were rescued with only the clothes on their backs. After the incident both homes are completely written off. Any little contribution will be gratefully appreciated.
Carol is my sister who is also the mother to my niece and nephew whose homes have been lost. Both families are currently living with her.
Clothes food house goods. Funds will be split evenly between the two families. Please note the families do have insurance.
Two Families 7 children…. No home 7 March 2023
Jayden & Amy, Daniel & Marieke and their families have been astounded and deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and care over the past three weeks. The amount of support we have received physically, emotionally, and financially from family, friends, and strangers all over the world has been overwhelming, and will help both now and in the days to come.
Jayden, Amy and their 4 children have moved into a new home which had been set in motion just days before the flood. They are slowly settling in and in time will figure out what to do with their original place, pending insurance.
Danny, Marieke and their 3 children are still staying with Bruce & Carol for the foreseeable future as they wait on insurance decisions regarding their place, and then they can better assess their options.
The kids have all started back at preschool/school, and we are all just trying to find a new sense of normality and rhythm amongst the chaotic and turbulent times, and look forward to days ahead where we are all thriving and enjoying good times again.
Thank you so much,
With love from the Mellsop & Pepper family.
