Just wanted to clarify a couple of points please before donating. Have both homes actually been lost/written off? Have they been able to salvage any items or do they only have the one set of clothes? Do they have options for alternative accommodation or will they be living long term with your sister? Thank you (lots of pages on here asking for help and hard to narrow down who actually desperately needs the funds)

One definitely has they are still waiting for accessors on the other home. My nephew & family are now in separate housing but my niece& family are still living with my sister. One family managed to get sone clothes back that they had in high shelves but they literally lost everything else. Hope this answers your question x

Hi Bronwyn, so glad to hear they are safe but sorry about the loss of everything. We are here in Nelson and wondering if any toys, books, girls clothes size 2 or 3, or boys clothes size 4 maybe 5 would be useful to anyone? I'm happy to go through our kids things and send up any surplus if it can be of use.

Hi there sorry it’s taken me awhile to reply!!! Thankyou so much for your offer of clothes books toys etc but they would rather not have an abundance of these with different sizes etc. If you would like to contribute a little to this page that would be so appreciated & helpful. Cheers Bronni
