Two-for-One Justice — Help Me Finish the Fight (and Then Help the Next Family Too)

I’m a mum of two young boys who has spent years surviving financial and emotional abuse from a former partner who used money as control. Despite wealth and success, he contributed almost nothing to raising his sons, leaving me to carry the load.

I’ve just won a protection order to keep us safe. Now I’m fighting for a fair property settlement — something the law says I’m entitled to, but which I can’t reach without costly legal support. I left the relationship in 2015 with almost nothing, and since then he has withheld support, cut us off when I wouldn’t comply, and used money as leverage.

I once had financial backing, but it required giving up a large share of my future settlement and became tied to someone else’s personal agenda. That wasn’t right for me or my children, so I walked away.

So far I’ve spent around $60,000 on legal fees. This is my last resort — asking for help to bridge the gap so I can finish this fight. My goal is $110,000 to cover costs through to settlement.
