This is dedicated to support Two Good Strong Women.
My Good Friend Heather has taken extended leave to care for her Partner Sandra, as she fights a Battle with Cancer.
Sandra's Daughter Livvy approached me. This has been our idea together as we know there are many people who want to help and do not know how. We are aware that we might get our heads chopped off!
Help us make some magic for Heather and Sandra!
A message from Livvy:
As most of you’re probably aware my amazing mum Sandra is going through a pretty rough time at the moment. She is at a stage with her cancer where she needs around the clock care.
For mum and Heather this means Heather needing to stop working for the mean time to care for my mum. This is causing a financial headache for everyone!
If you know my mum she is truly a one of a kind human. She is the first to help others and has touched the hearts of hundreds of people through her line of work and through just being darn right awesome!
Mum and Heather will probably kill me when they find out we have set up this page, but I am fully committed to support them as much as I possibly can.
I know how imperative it is for my mum to be able to stay at home during this horrible ordeal, and this would allow her to be at home and cared for by the people who love her, making this all a little more bearable. XOX
I am involved as a friend trying to help friends.
As Heather is on extended leave without pay I am hoping to raise funds to help with basics like the weekly Grocery Shopping.
A Message From Heather 18 January 2017
To All of you lovely people who have taken the time to donate large and small I would like to thank you so VERY much.
I was horrified when I first found out about this page, mortified in fact!
Being private and self reliant in nature I just couldn't countenance any thing like this was OK, BUT! This support has absolutely made it possible for me to look after Sandra without the stress of worrying about money and for that I/we just couldn't be more grateful.
MY words seem so very small and bear no comparison to my feelings, I wish each and every one of you as many blessings as can be conjured up by your warm hearts and my profound gratitude.
Heather
