All money raised will go towards Tyga's ongoing vet and rehabilitation costs..
Auckland
Tyga is our three year old family cat who went missing around the end October beginning of November. On Sunday a neighbor found her on a shared driveway unable to move anything except her head. Thankfully the neighbor took her straight to the Animal Referral Center in Albany. I only found out today Monday 18th December that Tyga was at the Vet. She had stayed the night and was put on a drip,as she was severely dehydrated and very skinny. Although there was some improvement Tyga is still unable to stand or use her legs. She will be transferred to our amazing family vet Onewa Road Veterinary Hospital tomorrow morning. Where she will receive the very best in veterinary care. All money raised is to go towards Tyga's treatment and recovery costs. She will need X rays, blood work and possibly a CT Scan..Perhaps even surgery... Even though she cannot walk or stand she somehow managed to get home.. It has been a very hard few months with both my parents passing away recently within four months of each other. Normally I would not dream of asking for help, but I am struggling financially. Please this is for Tyga she deserves nothing but the best possible care that she will get via our vets..
All money raised will be paid to Onewa Road Veterinary Hospital for Tyga's ongoing costs.. Any surplus left over after account paid will be donated to a local small animal rescue group/s.
Tyga's Progress 29 December 2017
Tyga is on crate rest for the foreseeable future. She is still unable to control her legs/balance for too long and just falls over. She has managed to put 200g on which is a great achievement, considering she has problems keeping still long enough to get some food in her mouth.
Thank you so so much for this generous donation!! And yes vet bills are crazy, Tyga can now walk on her own... But still a long way to go :) Have a great week and thanks so much again!
Thank you so much x Merry Christmas!
