AUCKLAND CRICKET SELECTION UNDER 14 CRICKET TOUR - SRI LANKA
I am 1 of 4 children, all whom are passionate. This is the perfect opportunity to try and help my parents out and take the load off them.

My name is Matthew Pieters and I started playing cricket at the age of 7. I have never imagined I'd get the opportunity at the age of 13 to represent Auckland in the Auckland Selection Under 14 Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka. I believe this opportunity will help me to develop as a sportsman as well as develop my skills as a cricket player. It is an absolute privilege to have the chance to play against some good teams in Sri Lanka.
My achievements are that I made the Year 7/8 Premier team for Takapuna Cricket District Club and then going on making the Year 8/9 Premier team the year after in 2018. And my greatest achievement is making the Academy of Sports for Cricket at Westlake Boys High School and making the Colts team to represent Westlake Boys High School.
