We are raising funds to support our hero and family on this journey

Auckland

NEVER EVER did we think this would happen to us ... but it did and it has. On the 19th of November 2019 my beautiful husband and father of our seven year old son, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a blood/bone cancer that whilst treatable is still incurable long term. We want to smash it out of the park as much as we can while Clinton is young, fit and otherwise healthy.

There is the all too familiar punch line ... Lenalidomide is not funded by Pharmac ($8000+gst per cycle).

Whilst we are trying hard to be UPBE4T, we know that we can't do this without support. So here we are eating humble pie, raising funds to support our hero and family on this journey.

Use of funds

Funding will be used for chemo treatments and assisting us through this journey

Hi Clinton, Sorry to hear about it, literally got shaken and couldn't control my tears. You have been an inspiration for me. I always remember the energy which you used to create during our meetings at Toastmasters. Praying for you a lot that may Allah gives you strength, patience, courage and recovery soon, Ameen. Let me know if I can be on any help to you. Asma
