    Thank you so much for your incredibly generous support of our kaupapa, we have reached $11,170 funds raised!

    This includes the koha given through this page, cash donations, the bequest of $5,000 that started us off, and extra catering we have done for rōpū staying at our marae.

    This givealittle campaign will continue to the end of August so please continue to share it with whānau who may like to tautoko.

    Our quotes for the new combi oven are coming in at around $35,000 including installation.

    Some whānau have suggested we run a raffle and donations are welcomed for that (a pig and some mahi Toi have been pledged so far).

    This week we are submitting a grant application to Lotteries and we will apply to TECT next month.

    Just wanted you all to be updated on our progress!

  • Extending the time for donations

    Kia ora e te whānau, we are super grateful to everyone who has donated to our fundraiser so far. We are still welcoming contributions to get us to our target of $10,000. This is the amount we need to purchase a brand new combi oven to replace our aging cooking appliances in our wharekai.

    Please share our GiveALittle page with your whānau and friends, and we will hopefully raise a bit more pūtea so our Ringa Manaaki Committee can buy us a quality oven.

  • Almost halfway there!

    E mihi NUI ana ki a koutou katoa kua tākoha mai ki tēnei kaupapa! We are so grateful for the incredibly generous donations we have received so far.

    The cost of a new oven is between $18,000-$25,000 so the funds we have had donated via this page plus the bequest of $5,000 mean we are almost at the halfway mark of $9,000. Yay!
