Uplift our Dancers

BalletCollective Aotearoa is a project-based dance collective located in Pōneke, Wellington, dedicated to presenting innovative homegrown dance to diverse communities across Aotearoa, New Zealand.

We provide a platform for emerging artists—including dancers, choreographers, and musicians—to develop their craft and pursue artistic growth. Our performances are designed to be engaging and accessible to a broad audience across various venues.

This year, we are once again participating in the Pōneke Festival of Contemporary Dance. While we receive a share of the box office revenue, these funds do not fully cover essential expenses such as dancer rehearsal time, costumes, royalties, insurance, and other associated costs.
