URGENT GBS Medication - please help my brother in the Philippines

My younger brother, Benedict, is currently in critical condition in ICU in the Philippines.

He has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a serious condition that affects the nerves and can cause rapid weakness, breathing difficulties, and other life-threatening complications. His doctors have advised that he urgently needs treatment to give him the best chance of recovery.

The medication he needs costs ₱33,200 per vial, which is approximately NZ$910 per vial. He requires 21 vials within 5 days, bringing the cost of the medication alone to ₱697,200 PHP, approximately NZ$19,000. This does not include ICU care, hospital bills, tests, and other medical expenses.

Our family is doing everything we can, but the cost is overwhelming and time is critical. Any amount, big or small, will help towards his urgent treatment and ongoing hospital care.

Funds raised through this page will be paid into my verified New Zealand bank account and transferred to my family/hospital in the Philippines to help cover my brother’s medical expenses.
