Urgent Help Needed to Relocate our Cabin

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out for support during a significant transition for myself and my three daughters.

A few years ago, I sold my house in Christchurch and invested in land in Tauhoa, hoping it would be subdivided and titled into a secure, long-term place for my family. I moved there in December 2022.

In March 2025, I was informed that I could no longer live in my cabin on the property. Unfortunately, I have not been able to recover my investment, which has made rebuilding and relocating extremely difficult.

Since then, I have been working hard to get back on my feet and provide stability for my daughters and I.

One of the biggest challenges right now is relocating my cabin, from Tauhoa to Warkworth. The property where the cabin is situated is in the process of being sold, which means I need to relocate the cabin to a secure site before the 2nd of July.

The relocation cost alone is expected to be around $4,000, with additional expenses for transport, moving belongings, truck hire, ferry costs, and fuel.

Any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward:

• Relocating the cabin to a secure location

• Transport and moving costs

• Moving our belongings to Christchurch

• Supporting our family through this transition
