Raising funds for Abdourahman in The Gambia to access urgent treatment for a severe, worsening jaw infection.
Auckland
Abdourahman Ngum is a young man in The Gambia suffering from a serious, painful jaw infection. What began as a swelling has worsened into an open wound. The infection is now deep in the bone and spreading. I’ve known Abdourahman for a year. He’s unemployed, unmarried, and the only support for his mother and younger sisters. He survives on odd jobs, and like many in The Gambia, he has no access to proper healthcare without upfront payment.
I’ve already sent $700 for the initial treatment of the infection. That helped for a time, but the infection has returned with force and deep within his jaw. Doctors refuse to treat him further unless he can pay another $800. Without urgent care, the infection could become life-threatening.
This fundraiser will cover his medical costs and recovery support. Every dollar helps. If you can contribute, even a little, it’ll go a long way.

Medical consultation, antibiotics, surgery if needed, wound care, and follow-up visits. Any shortfall will go toward basic healthcare and recovery needs.

We just need to get to $800 so that Abs can get the treatment he desperately needs. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
