Kia ora, I am a high school teacher at Whakatane High School and I want to take students to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. In 2018, I had the opportunity to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama and it was such an amazing experience. I made friends from all over the world and we still keep in touch. Since 2018, I have wanted to take students back as the experiences would be life-changing. There are 25 students who want to go on this trip and it will cost them around $8000 each to travel to Huntsville as well as spend 6 days and 5 nights at Space Camp. They will then visit Houston for a couple of days where they will visit the Johnson Space Centre (mission control for the moon landings) and the Houston Natural Science Museum. It is an opportunity of a lifetime for these students so please donate to help their Space Camp dreams come true!!

About us

Whakatane High School is a co-educational school in sunny Whakatane. These rangatahi are seeking help for a trip of a lifetime!

Use of funds

The money will be spent on helping reduce the cost of this trip for our students to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity.
