Due to a few requests from those who were unable to attend the Winetasting Fundraising night, I have set up a Fundraising page if you would like to Help Vaccinate me as I head out in 2 weeks time on my Volunteer trip to Cambodia. Vaccinations for this trip are $550, (almost half of my plane ticket) so any support you provide is welcomed but not obligated at all. Over half has already been raised by the attendees from the Wine Tasting night.

I am part of a team of 8 people from Life Church heading to Cambodia for 2 weeks starting on 8 August.

We will be involved in building a much needed roof, painting and decorating a nursery and some other basic building work. As well, we will be heading out to 1-2 surrounding villages around Phnon Penh to meet with local people and assist where we can.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
