Val Serrano -Fundraising to represent New Zealand U15 Girls Touch at the Australian National Youth Championship in September

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to read my story. I have been playing touch rugby for 5 years and have represented Auckland the last 2 years (2014-15 & 2015-16). I have been very fortunate to have had great coaching along these years which has enabled me to be selected to the NZ U15 Girls team this year after the Touch Nationals in Christchurch.

It is a huge honor to represent NZ, and I can't wait to put on the jersey when we are in Australia to play at the Australian Youth Nationals in September in Caloundra, Queensland.

This year I have been fortunate to make several representative teams:

- Auckland U15 Girls Touch at the NZ Youth Touch Nationals in Christchurch,

- Eastern District Cricket Association, and

- NZ Kahu Youth Girls, New Zealand Girls AFL (Aussie Rules) over the ANZAC weekend.

I love my sports and I play netball and hockey in the winter as well. I am thankful of all the support I get to be able to play and succeed in what I set myself out to do. This is why I wanted to ask for your help to continue my journey in sport and be able to represent New Zealand again, this time in Touch rugby, playing in Australia.

I have put together this page to fundraise for my trip to Australia.
