Help for Vanessa & her family

In a freak accident Anthony has casually jumped a fence to get ready for the morning milking and tragically slipped causing his death. This tragedy has changed the life of his fiancé Vanessa Martin, daughter Sam, and all of those that love him, forever. Recently moving from Rotorua just 5 weeks earlier to a dream job where Anthony was most happiest running a farm, Anthony and Vanessa were about to start a new chapter in their lives with the relocation to the small farming community of Reporoa – the future looked bright. Vanessa has been left with a broken heart, and an uncertain future, as her life has been turned upside down.

Vanessa resigned from her employment in Rotorua to support Anthony in the lifestyle of farming, but now without Anthony, she faces the reality of not only grieving her soul mate but needing emergency housing and financial assistance until she can get on her feet and support herself, now that the family has no income. Vanessa cannot remain on the farm without Anthony, as this job relied on his farming experience and she has a lot to work through in the next few months with looking for employment, housing and being in a position to financially support her and her family alone. I am hoping that although we cannot heal any of Vanessa’s pain that we can at least come together as friends, family and community and relieve the immediate financial stress she is now facing due to these tragic circumstances.
