Support for Vanessa Wihongi and whanau

We are friend's of Vanessa's, wanting to reach a wider audience to support her unforeseen circumstances at this time. Vanessa lost her home from a devastating fire, along with all her belongings including treasured taonga and memories of her Nan's, and also her beautiful daughter Shayla's, whom passed away last year 2015. Vanessa is currently recovering in hospital from numerous surgeries this week, which meant her youngest daughter has been placed with whanau whilst she gains her strength to find them a home to rent as they are temporarily living with a friend. She will be needing to start from scratch again.

We have watched Vanessa face many challenges over this last year and wish for her and her children to experience joy again and reap rewards of blessings which can be done by us all collectively opening our hearts up and digging deep so she can rebuild her life at Christmas time.

Vanessa's landlord had insurance for the house, however there was no insurance of any sort for her personal contents. All monies donated will go to Vanessa and help rebuild her contents, furniture and property needed for herself and her children in the next home that she finds.
