“Things of their Own”

Veilomani is a home run by the Methodist church based out of Ba, Fiji Islands. They have a total of 22 boys at the home. The Veilomani Boys Home is doing all it can to make sure that the children are provided with quality life and the children’s well-being is the utmost priority for the home.

While education is free in Fiji, the boys still require the basic items that are required to ensure their education continues without hindrance. The Things of their Own” initiative started a few years back where we have been able to get sponsorship for the boy’s school gears, bags, books and uniform. “Things of their Own” initiative is to give these boys basic items that most kids would receive without asking.

We are again starting with this initiative in order to get the boys ready for the new school year in 2020. We hope to get all the funds in by the 1st week of January to get items in order before the school year starts.

Veilomani means love, caring, sharing and helping the weak and those who need protection and our love to grow.

Funds raised here will be used to get back to school items for the boys, including shoes, bags, pencil case etc and also toiletries packs for every kid.

If we are unable to meet our target, we will get whichever items that are most critical for the boys and purchase those items only and any excess will be invested back with the boys.
