Venus Place - Stopping the 15 Houses at Number 28 and 30

$910 donated
Given by 9 generous donors in one year

Stop the development with the short term goal being "have the development publicly notified"

Auckland

The purpose of our group is to prevent the damaging development that has been proposed on the site of numbers 28 and 30 Venus Place. The primary reason for this fundraising is to share legal costs. I am Jon Huxley at number 36a Venus Place. I am leading the legal discussion with a law firm called Meredith Connell. Our key action is to have the consent application ‘notifed’ which means the applicant and Council have to take views and feedback from the community as opposed to it just sailing through approval. This requires legal might to do do. At this stage costs look likely to be $3-4

Through email to everyone, I will be entirely transparent about how any funds raised are being spent.
